The Zephair desk fan is a remarkable, effective fan. Quiet, heavy enough to be always stable, and well made. Fairly easy to clean but rarely needs cleaning as it has a black finish. I have mine running almost all summer in my bedrooms, kitchen and family room (my oldest is 6 years old). I have also given them to my children for their apartments. They are very efficient at pulling in outside air and creating strong circulation in a room. That being said, my fans are all the discontinued 16" version that I am sad is no longer available. I haven't tried the smaller version yet.
