Casablanca Fans Earn ENERGY STAR® Rating

POMONA, Calif., -- Casablanca Fan Company is proud to announce that six ceiling fans have earned the Environmental Protection Agency's exclusive Energy Star® rating for energy efficiency.

The Energy Star certification is given only to approved products which meet strict guidelines for energy efficiency. To earn the sought-after rating, a ceiling fan must move air 15 to 20 percent more efficiently than an average fan. Energy Star requirements for ceiling fans also dictate quality of controls, lighting, noise level, warranty and consumer information. The EPA estimates that Energy Star fans save customers approximately $20 to $30 a year, depending on the region.

Casablanca fans that have earned the Energy Star rating are the Campana™ (3-speed), the Capistrano™, the Concentra™, the Estrada™, the Lanai™ and the Utopian™.

Energy Star standards were released in August, and Casablanca was among the first ceiling fan manufacturers to submit qualified fans.
